🌿❤️ **OUR LEARNING JOURNEY – FROM OUR BABY ROOM TO THE BEST START IN LIFE!** ❤️🌿
✨ **It's not just about what children learn, but HOW we help them get there!** ✨
At Chapter One we are **building the foundations for lifelong learning, right from our Baby Room ( our little caterpillars through to Pre-KG Wise Owls )🥰
At our nursery, we don't focus on rushing children to achieve what they will eventually be doing at school. Instead, we focus on **developing the essential skills, strength, confidence and independence that will help them get there when they are ready.** ❤️
For example...
✏️ **Before a child can write**, they need to develop their core strength, shoulder stability, hand muscles and coordination. We encourage this through tummy time, crawling, climbing, playdough, threading, painting and so much more!
🥛 **Before a child can independently pour their own drink**, they begin by holding a baby beaker, progress to using a beaker without a lid, then a small open cup, before eventually developing the control and confidence to pour for themselves.
🌱 **Every little experience is building towards something bigger!**
We want parents to see learning from a different perspective and recognise just how much development is happening during what might look like simple play.
Most importantly, we always recognise that **every child is unique and develops at their own pace. We adapt our approach to each child's individual needs, interests and abilities.
❤️ **We aren't rushing children towards the next milestone. We're giving them the foundations, confidence and love of learning to achieve it in their own time.**
