Family is not an important thing. It’s everything ✨

Today (November 30) I turn 38 years old.
I’m not usually one to make a big deal about my birthday, but as always, it has given me an opportunity to reflect. I thought I’d share a handful of lessons I’ve learned — as a helpful guide for those just starting out.

Slow down. Rushing is rarely worth it. Life is better enjoyed at a leisurely pace.

Don’t sit too much. It kills you. Move, dance, run, play.

Love comes in many flavors. I love my children, completely and more than I can ever fully understand. I love them each in a different way, and know that each is perfect in his or her own way.

Great things are rarely achieved by just one person. Usually, they are accomplished by a group of people, and when everyone is committed to the overall goal, teams move faster, are more innovative and more successful.
