Jolly Roger Diving

Had a visit today from the SSI representative for Central America. He brought with him two awards for Jolly Roger Diving. Apparently in 2019 Jolly Roger Diving was the top dive center in the region for issuing ecology certifications.

Every Open Water diver was provided an opportunity to get one of the ecology certifications at no additional fee.

Dive Shop Construction continues.

Yesterday we placed the container in location. Next we will be working on enclosing the space and extending the roof from the existing shop.

Bit more work happening at our facility. We are in the process of building a new office and storage area for the dive center. Here are pictures of the new foundation work. Stay tuned as we progress over the coming weeks.

To counteract the negative effects of the coronavirus respiratory pandemic (Covid-19) , companies from the upper coast of the province of Colón made the decision to form a chamber of commerce in order to expand business opportunities.
Rosalind Baitel, spokeswoman for Linton Bay Marina points out that this sector of the province of Colón has many tourist, cultural and economic attractions. "We must come together to make common cause for the benefit of area residents and investors."
Through the camera, the companies in the region want to create a brand that unifies all the attractions of the area, not only industrial, but tourist and vacation, among others.
Among the companies that will be part of the guild are: Linton Bay Marina, Portobelo Heavy Lift, Atlantic Boat Services, Ocean Builders Panama, Panasea Global, the diving school, Jolly Roger Diving, Open Blue, Panadería Rico Rico,, PRAM (Program for Restoring the Marine Environment), Verduras Efraín, Hotel Ranchos de Chalia and the Panama Canal Yacht Club.
