En 1986 nació un hijo de pura sangre de Alydar, fruto de la yegua Relaxing, ganadora de carreras de grado. Este robusto potro castaño tendría una fantástica carrera en las pistas, coronada por una legendaria rivalidad y una emocionante victoria en el Belmont Stakes de 1989. Aunque falleció trágicamente a la temprana edad de 8 años, dejó una huella imborrable en el deporte, tanto como corredor como semental.
