It was a real pleasure and we are so thankful that you supported our project to help the Kinderhospiz Sternenbrücke.
I will be there 1st May for the open day. Do not hesitate to visit ! It will be fabulous day filled with lots of fun activities and the opportunity to visit the house.

Dearest Big Bertha. You were wonderful. You made it over the Andes again and again. Ok at times you refused to break, but may be that was your way of revealing that you're a speed ju**ie. You'll go into a container in Lima tomorrow and be shipped with lots of your girlfriends back home. You'll get an intensive thalassotherapy once back home. You'll be repaired and pampered and looked after. We'll see you in Munich at Ponton Manufaktur in February. Danke Big Bertha. You were a very brave, reliable and robust rally car. We love you.

Day 25: Cucco to Nazca; we knew it would be a long day when we saw 650 km to be covered and the starting time was 6am. What we didn't know is that we would climb the equivalent of the Mount Everest by going 4 times above 4,000m, twice above 4,500 and every time descending to 2,000m or below before climbing again. We must have done 9,999 hairpins at least... We finally got there in the dark, exhausted but relieved to have made it.

Today felt like a piece of 🎂 in comparison, 260km to Paracas and hardly any turns. We even had enough time to get Big Bertha prettied up for tomorrow's grand finale to Lima.

We are now at Lake Titicaca in Peru, the camera is almost melting...I have to catch up to compensate with my lost images . . . No matter what. Big Bertha continues to perform and the country and the people are just amazing

Like in every other endurance activity the low point had to come. You are exhausted, tired and you ask yourself why you are here in the first place. We had our low point over the past couple of days but are now looking forward to the final chapter: Peru, we are coming!

Robaron nuestro bolso de Rally No 36 esta mañana a las 8:54 en el lobby del Hotel Hilton Garden Inn de Iquique.

Vimos la grabación de seguridad del Hotel junto con Carabineros y seguridad, donde los 3 están muy visibles.
Se llevaron un número de objetos de valor para nosotros, guárdenlos. Pero también han tomado alrededor de 20 tarjetas SD de cámara de fotos. Contienen miles de fotos de nuestro viaje por América Latina; tienen un valor sentimental inconmensurable para nosotros - para usted son sólo tarjetas de fotos vacías, sin valor.

Por favor regrese estas tarjetas al Hotel Hilton, en un sobre dirigido a Rally de los Incas, Equipo 36. Si lo hace, desestimaremos la denuncia y pagaremos una recompensa de 1.000 dólares, sin hacer preguntas. Simplemente ponga las instrucciones sobre cómo recibir el dinero dentro del sobre.
