Today, I am overjoyed to celebrate the formidable Goddess Sara Hirsh Bordo—award-winning filmmaker, activist, founder of Women Rising®, and now bestselling author of Autoimmunity & The Good Girls: How Permission to Put Ourselves First Has the Power to Keep Us Well.

Sara is a beloved sister, two-time graduate of the Awakened Goddess Training, and was initiated as a High Priestess with me and the Goddesses in the sacred temples of Egypt.

Through our journeys together, I have witnessed Sara's extraordinary courage, surrender, reclamation, and rebirth.

Again and again, I am left in awe of her capacity to alchemize life's greatest fires into profound wisdom, power, and gold, transforming every lesson into medicine and every healing into an offering devoted to empowering women everywhere.

Every woman is called by the Dark Goddess.

Like Inanna herself, we either answer the call and enter the mysteries of the Underworld, or are initiated into them.

From descent to ascent, from darkness to light, there is a healing, purification, and rebirth that only the Goddesses can offer.

When we offer the Dark Goddesses our pain, our wounds, our shadow, our grief, our shame, our rage, all that happened to us, including where we were most hurt and where we were most wounded, there is a sacred witnessing and unfolding that takes place.

As Inanna surrendered to the seven gateways of the Great Below, we too are invited to surrender to the alchemy of the descent.

Through that healing comes purification.

Through that purification comes rebirth.

And we rise not the same, never the same.

But transformed.

Made whole.

United in our dark and our light.

Whole in our sexuality.

Whole in our spirituality.

Whole in our body temples.

Healed in our past.

Empowered in our present.

And sovereign in our full Divine Feminine power.

As we rise, the Goddesses themselves—Inanna, Aphrodite, Oshun, Ishtar, Hathor, Isis, and so many more—radiate through us.

We embody their beauty.

Their pleasure.

Their abundance.

Their love.

Their wisdom.

Their power.
