Who is a Coach, compared to a Mentor or a Trainer... ❓
There are many similarities, but also important differences we need to understand when choosing the person we want to learn from.
Coach:
Someone who challenges your thinking and current ways you operate in life, work, and business.
Your Coach keeps you accountable and walks the path side by side with you to make sure you get back on the road when you fall off.
Mentor:
Someone you admire or look up to.
He/ She has already done and achieved what you want.
More of a person with deep wisdom and knowledge, whose presence alone demands respect.
Someone you can only meet a few times a year, and feel you are full of inspiration, motivation, and knowledge to keep going forward on your path.
Trainer:
practical and pragmatic, who will make sure you will hit your sales numbers or that new PR at the Gym.
Not necessarily the nicest guy you know, but that's not the point either.
Someone who gets you to do the work you avoid or don't want to do!
Now that you know the difference, make sure you choose the right person to work with! ;)

Environment is one of the most underrated Performance and wellbeing enhancers! 🍀
One of mine is most definitely "getting lost" out in the mountains and forest trails.
I feel the present moment, get in Flow and come back recharged.
I think we all should be more intentional of the spaces and places we put ourselves into.
Because they directly affect our mental and emotional wellbeing.
Both, in positive and negative ways.
And this includes the people in that space.
And sometimes, lack of them. 🙃

It is NOT optional anymore!
Some form of strength training and exercise has become a mandatory piece of our daily routines.
Because we all have 15-20 min.
Especially so, if you are working from home or have a remote workday.
I think the problem and hurdle often becomes about complexity; we need to simplify our days and make movement a natural part of the daily processes.
Your health, longevity, and Performance will thank you and will answer with increased energy, mental clarity, and emotional well-being.
So I guess my only question to you now is:
"What is your best excuse for Not doing it?

2026 has already gotten off to a very interesting start, and I am seeing a trajectory that I like about it.
Personally, I feel that the age-old saying "Less is More" will be supercharged this year.
Less commitments, more impact.
Less distractions, more focus.
Less attachment to outcome, more emphasis on the process.
And here is the interesting and kind of counterintuitive part about it.
Less is more work.
It requires more discipline, yet it will reward us more in the long-term game.
To say "No" is most often harder than to say yes. It is less exciting, more demanding, yet provides space, freedom, and clarity.
Use this powerful question to reflect on the future year:
- Which principle would you be able to adopt as your guiding north star for 2026?

Nobody who has done something worthwhile has ever avoided hard.
Resistance is needed to grow and get better at anything we do.
Don't suffer though, as suffering and resistance are very different.
Also, if resistance persists or you are not growing, there is something that needs to change.
Growth pains are and should only be temporary, and show us the gateway to growth.
When it is hard, remind yourself that you are in the process. And that's where the real gold can be found.
The fact is that if it were easy, you would be on the other side already.

As an Executive, losing your drive is the corporate equivalent of an athlete's season-ending injury!
If you lack passion for your work, your Performance will surely suffer too.
Because it is hard to be at your best when there is no intrinsic reason to do what you do.
And yes, the external goals and milestones keep us motivated (as they are very much needed); however, the primary drive MUST always be Internal!
Think of an athlete who loves the actual game and plays for enjoyment will always outrun and outplay the competition that is there for accolades, fame, or pure outcome.
The same is true at work.
An executive with deep Passion for what they do will outperform those who only seek bonuses or promotions.
You have an internal drive that is infinitely more powerful than fleeting motivation.
Reigniting that drive is your next top priority!
And then,
Safeguard the Passion at all costs. Love the game itself. And always stay hungry for more.
