This little known mission town east of Mt Hagen had a fantastic natural terrain motocross track in the early 1970's.

Some great old photos sent through this week showing what a long association Frank Tom had with SPMSC and motorcycle racing in Port Moresby.
From a young flag marshall to helping Greg Antonieff, Peter Mylius, Peter Shaw, Marc Roach & David Dwyer with their racing to trying outfits then settling on motocross!
Frank had a LONG association with the sport - and with so many of the people involved with it!

Very sad to hear of the death of Frank Tom, a talented motocross rider and one of the real characters of Port Moresby motor sport in the late '70s & early '80s. Missed by many! Vale Haha!
