📢 IMPORTANT NOTICE – 2ND TRIALS POSTPONED

Good morning, Members!

Please be advised that our 2nd Trials scheduled for Saturday, 24th October 2026, have been postponed to Saturday, 31st October 2026.

This decision is due to the World Cup Rugby Games taking place at the same time. The safety of our members is paramount.

Kindly take note of the change and inform all your club members accordingly.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Stay safe, and we look forward to seeing you all next weekend!

Public Servants Netball Association (PSNA) first off-season trials for Season 2026-2027 was hosted at the Rita Flynn Netball Courts on Saturday 17th October 2026.

It was a slow start to the season with only 29 teams turning up.
While some teams were unable to attend the initial trial games, their participation and commitment in the upcoming fixtures will be important to ensuring a smooth and successful competition.

PSNA President Ms Mary Nauga expressed her disappointment at the poor turn out during the first trials.

She further stated that she understands that "some of our players and clubs are preparing for the upcoming PanPac trip, however, that preparation must not compromise our local PSNA competition"

Ms Nauga further calls on all Financial clubs to "prioritise this season, ensuring all teams turn up and show commitment"

The Executive Committee is working hard to deliver a better, fairer, competiton for everyone this season.." but we cannot do it without your teams on the courts" says Ms. Nauga.

My beloved PSNA Financial Members,

Greetings in the name of netball!!

Thank you from my heart to each and everyone of you- our financial members across Premier Elite, Division 1-8 and Mixed A & B Competitive- who attended our PSNA Annual General Meeting on Saturday 10th October 2026 at Crown Hotel.

You made history- 500 to 1500 members- record high- All Competitive, All Inclusive, All Public Servants. Thank you for adopting The President's Report.

Let me acknowledge our special people from the AGM:
1. WELCOME ONBOARD- NEWLY APPOINTED:
- Vice President: Ms Augerea Gigimat- Forestry
Welcome VP Augerea! Forestry strength will help us lead in our last term.

- Vice Treasurer: Ms Walo! Thank you for taking responsibility for our 150k-200k budget for trophies, umpires, Mixed A&B Carnival, PanPac Masters Gold Coast and Awards Night 2027 APEC Haus.

2. CONGRATULATIONS- OUT FIRST EVER LIFE MEMBERS- HISTORIC

First ever life members in PSNA History! They built from small to 150. When you see them, please congratulate them, They are forever PSNA family.

3. SPECIAL ACKNOWLEDGEMENT- OUR MC

I wish to specially thank our Master of Ceremony: Ms Wmily Baupua- PNGSF- Papua New Guinea Sports Foundation.

Thank you Emily, for being an excellent MC! You controlled the program professionally, kept time, kept energy high and made AGM flow smoothly from 500- 1500 growth story to Life Members honour. PNGSF has given PSNA not only competitive players like Captain Hannah Singut, but also leaders like you who serve off the court.

Financial Members, Emily volunteered her Saturday to be our voice- please thank her when you see her at Rita Flynn. Excellent MC- Public Servant Standard!

4. THANK YOU SECRETARIAT:

Thank you Evelyn and Janet for preparing all AGM documents, minutes, membership lists for 1500 members and for being the engine room of PSNA. Your professionalism made AGM possible.

5. DISAPPOINTMENT- FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE

I must be transparent with you- I was disappointed that Fundraising Committee did not attend AGM and did not present report to you financial members who deserve accountability. For our last term needing 150k-200k, I will require a written report within 7 days and will share with you.

6. OUR LAST TERM- LET US FINISH STRONG

Financial members this season 2026/ 2027 is our last term as this executive.

One last season to leave legacy, we need you:
- pay fees on time
- Support VP Augerea Gigimat, V/Treasurer Walo, Secretary Evelyn, V/Secretary Janet
- Honour Life Members Lilian Yaruso and Rawa Stoi
- Thank you MC Emily Baupua
- Make Saturday's at Rita Flynn biggest crowds- esp Mixed A/B Competitive
