KISERE CHIEFS – THANK YOU MESSAGE

It was all smiles yesterday as Kisere Chiefs won all our Pool F games and finished on top of the pool. Through determination and teamwork, Chiefs secured 3rd place overall at the Hulahula Broskys Gabagaba 9's Tournament.

Today was a sudden death encounter against Koita Cowboys from Papa Village. Both teams displayed strong defensive football and shared similar scoring averages. The Cowboys brought speed, while the Chiefs relied on size and power.
The match was a fierce battle from start to finish, ending 10-all at full-time. In extra time, during the second stanza, Koita Cowboys crossed over for the winning golden-point try.

Although Chiefs were denied a try following a touch judge's ruling, which caused some debate, we accepted the decision in the true spirit of rugby league. As ambassadors of the game, we congratulate our Koita brothers and wish them all the best as they continue their campaign.

On behalf of Kisere Chiefs, we extend our sincere gratitude to our major sponsors, Mr John & Hubertine Ralema, and everyone who supported us financially or in kind: Mr & Mrs Jillian Dirian, Daire Vele Team, Mr Leka Kale, Mr Robert Wong, Mr & Mrs B. Elizah, Ms. Manau Tavaperry, Ps Baiva TTB and family and our Hon. Member Keith Iduhu.

A mighty salute also goes to our Moresby brothers and the loyal Kisere Diehards who stood by us and fought alongside us every step of the way.

Special thanks to our wonderful hosts, Mr & Mrs Willie Asigau of Gabagaba, for your hospitality and support throughout the tournament.

And before we forget, a huge thank you to our catering team for keeping the players and supporters well looked after.

To everyone who supported, encouraged, and believed in us—thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We love you all!

KISERE CHIEFS ADVANCE TO QUARTER FINALS

After an impressive undefeated run in the pool matches, Kisere Chiefs have secured their place in the Quarter Finals this Thursday. The Chiefs showed determination, discipline, and teamwork throughout the pool stages, earning victories against all opponents and finishing strongly at the top of Pool F.

The journey now becomes tougher as the Chiefs prepare to face the top teams from the other pools in a battle for a place in the Semi-Finals. Knockout football demands focus, commitment, and heart, and the team is ready to rise to the challenge.

We remain humble, stay low, and stay focused. One game at a time, one mission at a time.

As Game Day draws closer, our focus sharpens, and the excitement grows. Every tournament brings a different challenge, a different story, and a new opportunity to prove ourselves.

Kisere Chiefs proudly lifted the Agarobe Cup at Gabagaba in 2022. While many faces have changed since then, the belief remains the same—we are heading to Gabagaba Hulahula Broskys 9s with confidence and determination to cause another upset.

We know the standard of the competition. Negat man em geligeli. Yumi olgeta kaikai rice na kaukau tasol, but heart, commitment, and belief cost nothing. With a positive mindset and a never-give-up attitude, we are ready to face the big guns in Pool F.

A special thank you to John and Hubertine for your generosity and support. To everyone who has blessed us in cash and kind, we carry your support with pride. Your contribution is more than assistance—it is fuel for our journey.

We will fly high carrying your names with honor.

Chiefs Reloaded! 🏉💥

The Chiefs camp got a timely boost with our Port Moresby boys linking up with the squad. Nothing fancy—just getting the engines fired up and the boys switched on for the upcoming Gabagaba 9s.

A massive shout-out to those who have stepped up to make this happen:

👏 Peles mangi – thank you for your cooperation.
👏 John & Hubertine – appreciate your support.
🚌 TTB Bus – thank you for getting the boys where they need to be.
🏠 Nick Iana and family – thank you for the accommodation.
❤️ Maria – thank you for the extra support and additions.
🔧 Jennings, Francoh & Isa – thank you for keeping things running smoothly on the technical side.

Success is never built by one person. It takes a team behind the team, and your support is helping fuel the Chiefs' journey.

Gabagaba 9s is calling. The boys are locked in, focused, and ready. Chiefs stap wantaim! 🔥🏉💪
