Dear Bismark family, friends and supporters,
It is with a heavy heart that The Management of the Bismark Softball Club advise the loss of another person dear to our club.
Chris's contribution to our club was immense in the mentorship of our players, leadership both on and off the diamond and to top it off a couple of premierships.
We extend our prayers and condolences to the family of the late Chris Karl during this difficult time.
Wau, you will surely be missed, Godspeed and rest easy now Champ. π

Another good season came to end on Saturday as our boys went down to Brother Marlins 4-3.
Was a hard fought game that saw our boys took the lead 3-1 in parts of the game but it was the Brothers Marlins proven too strong and register 3 more runs to take the win.
Graham Keleu on the pitching plate restircted our batting power while young Landes' home run ignited the Marlins come back.
Congradulations Brother Marlins π
Would like to also take this time to congratulate our young Stars who played their first A-Grade grandfinal.

GRAND FINAL BOUNDπ§‘π€
An outstanding performance from Melly Taragau and Son Ezekiel Taragau in the short stop backed up by superb catching from vice captain Tonny Penny has secured the first spot of the 2025 Lae Softball Association Grandfinal yesterday beating the spirited Brother Marlins 5-1.
The game was on the balance, 2-1 in our favour until the bottom of the 6th inning, some good batting in likes of Michael Pulu, Tonny Penny, Graham Foremat and Melly Taragau, registered 3 more runs to secure the win in the top of the 7th inning with Marlins failing to put points.
Marlins will today play the Jets who beat Manolos in a tie breaker yesterday thanks to a home run by young Tonny Lamei.
The young vibrant Collin Senge coached side led by power hitter Collin Mangot and Nigel Lamei is the only team that beat Brother Marlins in the regular rounds so we are expecting a ripper of game today π¬π¦
Grandfinal stage is set for next week Saturday 12.04.2025.
