NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN: 2026 PNG Sports Hall of Fame

- Honouring the Life & Career of PNG Sporting Icons -

Papua New Guinea has produced generations of extraordinary athletes — champions who carried our colours with pride, broke records, and inspired the nation. Now it's time to honour them.

The PNGOC is calling on National Federations, individuals, and members of the public to nominate former PNG athletes for induction into this year's Sports Hall of Fame.

• Nominees must have represented PNG at recognised international events (Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, Pacific Games, world or regional championships)
• Retired from elite competition for 5+ years
• A verified record of achievement, contribution, and lasting legacy to PNG sport
