FORMER Wallabies captain and proud Papua New Guinean Will Genia is open to working with the PNG Chiefs in any capacity as he plots his next move after nearly 10 years in Japan.

After retiring last year, Genia will also conclude his role as skills coach with the Kintetsu Liners at the end of the Japanese season.

The 38-year-old is returning home to Brisbane and, while keen to pursue a coaching career, said he would relish helping the PNG Chiefs ahead of their 2028 entry.
