As the highly anticipated Rigo Rice Cup finals playoffs set to kick start this coming weekend, the grids continue for the boys.

Pouring their sweats out and have passion into every single training session, proving they truly have the heart and grit for footy.

With the huge finals stage ahead, the boys know they can't afford to slack off now, they had to keep grinding.

Victory won't come easy, but this level of dedication, the boys are ready to give it everything on the field.

This Sunday, the Rigo Rice Cup Cup Finals continues with our Community Round number 1 at South Side Stadium.

Because we are working with limited playing time, we will only be able to host 5 games this Sunday, 23rd August 2026, with the first game kicking off at 9:00 AM.

We ask all teams, players, officials and supporters to please understand the current situation and bear with us as we continue working to secure a suitable field so we can properly complete the competition.

Next Saturday, the next group of teams will take the field, and on Sunday we will have all teams playing as we push towards completing the Cup Finals.

We appreciate everyone’s patience, cooperation and understanding during this period. Team managers are also asked to make sure their players arrive on time and are ready according to the draw.

What a Standout performances in Debut!!

Kroton Hela Wigmens' debutant, Ferguson JOE delivered a massive standout performance off the bench in his debut game at ho**er.

Ferguson managed the middle effortlessly and driving the foward pack in both attack and defence.

He made an immediate impact by scoring a debut try and setting up another try with a brilliant assist.

With about ten minutes remaining on the clock before full-time, Joe dramatically sped up the rucks, teaming up with Solomon Pokere evolving a brilliant combination that sparked two rapid tries.

His defence was relentless, bringing crucial energy and control every minute he was on the field.

However, despite the Hela Wigmen falling to the Mendi Muruks in a 36-26 full-time loss, Joe's incredible debut was the true highlight of the game.

A great talent just making his way up.
