Promoting safe sports, safe environments and safe communities for every child and everyone.
Oceania Tennis Federation is proud to mark World Safe Sport Day (8 August) by signing the World Safe Sport Pledge to protect children.
Following the refresh of our safeguarding policy and the launch of a regional programme, we are working closely with our member nations to strengthen safe, inclusive environments across tennis in Oceania.
With Australia, New Zealand, and Guam already having safeguarding frameworks in place, and 10 further Pacific Island nations now appointing Safeguarding Officers, strong progress is being made across the region.
“Signing the pledge demonstrates our collective commitment to safeguarding across Oceania,” said OTF President Vicki Reid. “We are committed to working alongside our member nations to ensure safeguarding is practical, culturally relevant, and sustainable.”
