The ENB men's team had a stellar start defeating WNB and battled on gallantly to reach the bronze medal play off which went down to the wire with ENB scoring the goal of the tournament to level the game at the dying minutes. Game went into 'The challenge' which saw good goalkeeping skills from both sides. Nicholas Stanley did amazingly well up against the more fancied Pom players. ENB finished 4th. Well done to one and all!

A young team with heart and the passion for hockey- Team ENB women's hockey team claiming the Most Improved Team with K1000 prize money during the 2019 National Hockey Championships. Although results didnt go our way, this team of novice hockey players held their own against the top Pom team almost keeping them to a nil all draw by displaying their never say die spirit. Due to questionable umpiring decision last minute goal scored against WNB was disallowed. Results- Game 1 Pom3 6 def. ENB 0
Game 2 Pom2 3 def. ENB 0
Game 3 Pom3 1 def. ENB 0
Game 4 WNB 1 def. ENB 0
