The RAPATONA FC family, friends and community here in the nation’s capital Port Moresby and across PNG are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Late Mr. Richard Ivan ‘Doc’ Sios on Sunday 23rd February 2020. We would like to express our heartfelt condolences na ‘bikpela sore’ to Late Richard’s immediate family, friends and colleagues.

Late Richard, known to us as ‘Doc’ was a selfless, passionate and committed individual who immersed himself into our culture, customs and way of thinking. He joined the club in 1999 in the Premiere Reserves division as our ‘Baby Raps’ wearing jersey number nine. During his time with the club little did we know that whilst he developed under our banner alongside his team mates, he too would remind us of the importance of friendship and ‘pasin’. Late Richard left the club in 2013, but remained a genuine supporter and dear friend to the families and associates of the club till his untimely death. We will surely miss his presence in our circle.

REST IN LOVE DOC, UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN.
