✈️🇵🇬 OFF TO THE COOK ISLANDS!
The PNG U-19 Men’s National Team has departed for the Cook Islands ahead of the OFC U-19 Men’s Championship Qualifying Stage.
Led by captain Nalau Moses, the squad will take on Tonga on June 6 and hosts Cook Islands on June 12, with a place at the OFC U-19 Men’s Championship in Samoa up for grabs.
Head Coach Mathew Witu says the team is ready to compete and give their all as they chase qualification, while PNGFA President John Kapi Natto has challenged the players to dream big and seize the opportunity on the road to a potential FIFA U-20 World Cup campaign.

The PNG Football Association President Mr. John Kapi Natto and members of his Executive Committee had the pleasure of hosting Former Socceroos Captain and Olympian Paul Wade and his wife Valerie at the PNG Football Stadium to watch the Round 1 clash between PNG Hekari FC and Madang United FC.
Mr. Kapi Natto presented a match ball to Wadey to commemorate his involvement in the PSL 2026 season launch and the opening weekend.

Congratulations Ramona Padio for claiming the Female Athlete of the Year.
Ramona Padio had a huge 2025, showing real leadership and consistency in PNG women’s football. As captain of the PNG Bilums, she led the team to an undefeated run and clean sheet victory at the MSG Prime Ministers Cup,and later captained them to win the inaugural 2025 Women’s MSG Cup in Port Moresby. She also scored in the OFC Nations Cup final where PNG finished runners-up, delivering one of the tournament’s best goals.
At club level, she helped Hekari United reach the OFC Women’s Champions League final, finishing as silver medallists. Her performances earned her a nomination for The Best FIFA Women’s 11(Midfielder).
