True service begins when knowledge is shared with compassion. Last May 8, 2026, the NSTP-CWTS students of BSCE1A, BSCYB 1A, and BSCS 1A conducted the ArtReach Program at Barangay Lourdes, Alubijid , a community outreach rooted in the NSTP-CWTS values of volunteerism, empathy, leadership, unity, and social responsibility.
As part of the universityโs extension activity, Project Tabang, the program aimed to create meaningful connections between students and the community through creative and interactive learning experiences for children.
Through art workshops, drawing activities, recreational learning, and simple moments of interaction, the children were given a safe space to express their creativity, confidence, and joy. The student volunteers also shared small tokens and meals, reminding us that even the simplest acts of kindness can leave meaningful impacts on a childโs heart.
More than an outreach activity, ArtReach became a reminder that NSTP-CWTS is not only about completing community service, but about becoming citizens who serve with genuine care and purpose. Beyond the classroom, students learned that service is most meaningful when it reaches lives, inspires hope, and strengthens communities.
Thank you to everyone who became part of this initiative. Your time, effort, creativity, and compassion turned this program into something truly memorable for the children and the community. โจ

Today, we honor the anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution, a defining moment in Philippine history that showcased the strength of unity, courage, and peaceful action. On this day, millions of Filipinos stood together along Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA), demonstrating to the world that real change can be achieved through solidarity, faith, and collective hope.
The revolution was not just a political milestone but a powerful reminder of the Filipino spirit, resilient, compassionate, and deeply committed to freedom and democracy. It highlighted the importance of active citizenship and the responsibility of every Filipino to protect truth, uphold justice, and safeguard democratic values.
As members of the academic community, this commemoration invites us to reflect on our role as nation-builders. The legacy of EDSA reminds students and young leaders that meaningful change begins with awareness, courage, and participation. In our classrooms, organizations, and communities, we are called to embody integrity, critical thinking, and social responsibility.
Let this anniversary inspire us to remain vigilant, informed, and engaged citizens who contribute to building a just, inclusive, and empowered society. May we continue to honor the sacrifices of those who came before us by living out the ideals of unity, peace, and democratic participation in our daily lives.
May the spirit of People Power continue to guide and empower future generations. โจ
