It starts as a basketball camp. Somehow, it becomes more than that.

A point guard’s job is bigger than bringing the ball up the floor.

They set the pace. They read the defense. They create advantages. They decide when to attack, when to move it, and when to slow the game down.

At the youth level, we shouldn’t just develop players who can handle the ball.

We should develop players who can control the game.

The rain changes the plans. It doesn’t change what we’re grateful for.
