Why do so many great players want to play in the SNKRSCLARK league? First, the league was founded out of genuine love for basketball and the camaraderie among JTL, henson "papawis" players. Over time, even without cash prize, it has attracted top talent from all around Pampanga, with many high-caliber athletes having played in the league. Notable names include Norman Gonzales (former PBA veteran), W***y Mejia (former Pampanga Dragons), Kinsman Frando (San Beda, Giant Lanterns), Bon Bernardino (Pampanga Dragons), Em Tungcul (Tikas), Japeth Macaraeg (Perpetual), Sancho Vitug, Marlon Juico, Owa Pabalan, Jade Rivera of (Tikas) Floyd Bringuez, Boyong Pangilinan (Pampanga Lanterns), Topher Gonzalo (Arellano), Jeremy Reyes (FEU) and vlogger Jovy Cabalen Hoops. The league was not established for business purposes, but purely out of a shared passion for basketball. In fact, the league organizers even cover some of the expenses out of their own pocket and dedicate their time to making it happen.
