Dear Valued Members,

Please be informed that the Forest Hills Members’ Hard Course Tournament, originally scheduled on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, has been postponed and rescheduled to Tuesday, August 18, 2026.

This decision was made due to the prevailing and expected weather conditions, including sustained rain, thunder showers, and possible thunderstorms, which may affect the safety of our players and the playing condition of the golf course.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and
appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation.

Subject: World Handicap System (WHS) Handicap Fee Adjustment

Dear Valued Members,

We would like to inform you that the National Golf Association of the Philippines (NGAP) has implemented an adjustment to the annual World Handicap System (WHS) membership fee, effective 2026. This adjustment is in accordance with NGAP Board Resolution No. 5, Series of 3 June 2025, and represents the first increase in more than eight (8) years.

To ease the transition, the 2026 WHS membership fee will be collected in two installments:

• ₱500 – to be billed on 31 July 2026, covering January to June 2026
• ₱700 – to be billed on 31 December 2026, covering July to December 2026

Beginning 2027, the full annual WHS membership fee of ₱1,200 will be billed every January.

NGAP has shared that the adjustment will help strengthen programs and services that support golfers and member clubs nationwide. The additional funds will be utilized for initiatives such as:

• Development and training of the Philippine National Golf Teams;
• Enhancement of golf instructor education and certification programs;
• Hosting of more international tournaments in the Philippines;
• Continued support for club-level WHS operations and handicapping services;
• Further investment in technology, including enhancements to the WHS platform and digital services; and
• Future programs that will contribute to the continued growth of golf in the country.

These initiatives are part of NGAP's continuing commitment to align Philippine golf with international standards while making the game more accessible and beneficial to golfers of all levels.
