Children are naturally filled with energy, curiosity, and creativity. They explore, ask questions, and move in ways that express how they see the world. Sadly, this beautiful energy is often misunderstood — and instead of being guided, many are labeled or limited.

But when that same energy is channeled with love, purpose, and direction, something amazing happens. 🌱

When children are given the freedom to move, think, and discover who God made them to be — they flourish. They learn not just with their minds, but with their hearts. 💖

That’s what drives our FFBC Sports Ministry Coaches and Team Managers — to reach the next generation through sports and faith. 🏀✨

At Faith Basketball Club, our 𝘽𝙪𝙡𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩 and aspiring young players are not only trained to play well, but also to pray deeply and live with purpose. Before every game, they join Bible studies and AWANA Kids Club sessions — discovering that the greatest victory is not on the court, but in walking with Christ.

From casual weekend games to winning tournaments — and winning hearts for Christ. 🏆❤️
Here’s how the Faith Serves Badminton Club came to life! 👇

What started as a small group of friends playing badminton at the Ynares Center has now grown into something truly meaningful. 🌱

It all began when a few individuals — including one of our FFBC members '𝘒𝘶𝘺𝘢 𝘗𝘶𝘭𝘰𝘺' — would gather every Saturday morning to play in an open space, making the most of their free time even when the wind wasn’t always on their side. 💨

When their story reached one of our Men of Faith small group gathering, God opened a new opportunity: to use the FFBC covered court and connect with more people through the sport they love. As members of faith and other passionate players joined, the burden to share the Good News became stronger week after week. ❤️

Soon, friends began inviting friends — and what was once a small gathering of less than ten players became a growing community of young badminton players in Upper Antipolo. To keep things organized and safe for everyone, the group officially became the 𝙁𝙖𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝘽𝙖𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙡𝙪𝙗 (𝙁𝙎𝘽𝘾), with guidelines and mentors to help the ministry flourish. 🙌

What’s even more exciting is that many of our club members are achievers! 🏅 Several have joined — and won — badminton tournaments, including club members from San Jose National High School and Sumulong Memorial High School, who excelled in the recent Unit Meet in Antipolo. 👏 Now, aspiring players from Antipolo Faith Christian School are also training alongside these winners, growing together in both skill and faith. 💪✨

Today, the FFBC covered court is more than just a free space to play. It’s a place where faith and passion meet — where players not only improve their skills, but also grow in character through Bible studies before each game. ✝️

🎶 And that’s not all! 𝙈𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙖𝙡𝙨𝙤 𝙚𝙣𝙟𝙤𝙮 𝙛𝙧𝙚𝙚 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙘 𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙁𝙁𝘽𝘾 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙣𝙨 — learning to play instruments like guitar, drums, and piano as part of their holistic growth.

𝘞𝘦’𝘳𝘦 𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘤𝘰𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘴, 𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴 who faithfully come each week — not only to enjoy the game, but to encourage and inspire others. With a 𝙢𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘 𝙤𝙣 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙗𝙮 and clear safety guidelines, every match becomes both fun and secure for our members.

From a few rackets and a windy open court, to a thriving club of faith-filled players — this is what happens when we let God lead the game. 🙏

At just 15 years old, King is already showing the heart and discipline of a true athlete. Growing up as the son of a basketball player and coach, Coach Jeson Angkahan Lopez the game runs deep in his DNA. 💪

Every Sunday afternoon, you’ll find him leading the team through warm-ups and drills — setting the pace with energy and focus. He might miss a shot once in a while, but one thing’s for sure — he never misses practice and is always eager to grow through every Bible Study session. 🙌

Our Faith Serves Badminton Club continues to grow—both in number and in their love for God. Last Sunday, October 19, the team joined us for morning worship, enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship, and shared lunch together as one family in Christ. 🙏

We praise God for the gift of fellowship and for the generous sponsor who provided the team’s lunch. Truly, God’s goodness shines through every serve, every smile, and every shared moment of faith!

Before the whistle blows, we pause to remember why we play.
It’s not just about the game — it’s about hearts being changed, friendships being built, and lives being led closer to Christ. ❤️🏀
