Sa first time na pag host ng bansa sa premier Sambo tournament ng Asia, 3 golds 2 silver at 1 bronze ang hinakot ng Team Philippines sa Seniors Division ng 2026 Asia and Oceania Sambo Championships.

Dinepensahan ni world no. 1 Aislinn Yap ang kanyang korona sa 80kg Women’s Combat Sambo nang taluni niya si Zamzagul Faizollanova sa finals.

Wagi rin ng ginto sina Princess Aumagel Cortez (Combat Sambo -59kg) at Jomary Torres (Combat Sambo -50kg) habang silver naman mula kay Sambo Queen Sydney Sy at Asian Championship first timer Jasmaine Ching (54kg Sport Sambo) at bronze para sa veteran na si Godwin Langbayan (Men's Combat Sambo -64kg)
