From loyal Bulldog captain to PBA sniper

John Lloyd Clemente is a Filipino professional basketball player from Apalit, Pampanga, who currently plays as a shooting guard for the Converge FiberXers in the PBA. Before his professional move, he spent an impressive decade with the National University program, rising from a champion Bullpup in high school to the team captain of the Bulldogs.

In his final collegiate year, he led NU to the UAAP Season 85 Final Four and earned the MVP title in the 2022 Filoil EcoOil Preseason Cup. After forgoing his final year of eligibility in 2023, he transitioned to the MPBL, where he won a championship with the Pampanga Giant Lanterns.

By October 2025, he officially reached the PBA, signing a deal to join the FiberXers' active roster for the ongoing 2025–2026 season. Known for his "sniper" shooting ability, the 6'3" wing continues to fulfill his childhood dream of helping his family through his professional basketball career.
