Congratulations to Daniel Forto for conquering his first duathlon at the 3rd Cauayan Offroad Duathlon!

Despite being new to running, he proved that starting now is better than waiting for later—or never. Daniel finished 12th in his age category, and while he may not have reached the podium, completing the grueling 5km run, 30km mountain bike, and 3km run is already a remarkable achievement, especially for a first-timer in this sport discipline.

May his resilience and perseverance inspire his fellow Aparrianos to see that sports are not just a game, but a way of life. 🏃🚵‍♂️🏃

Race Report!

A birthday MTB race for Ariel Berbano was held at the Allcapan Bypass Road last August 10, 2025, where Ron Joshua Asuncion, representing Team Aparri, held his own and finished 6th in the Open Category. Craig Aouex Raquinio, who also joined the race and was expected to deliver a strong finish, unfortunately encountered a technical issue when his tire went flat—an inevitable part of the game.

May their motivation remain strong so that they can peak on the podium at the height of their cycling journey. May their tenacity and diligence in joining races serve as an inspiration to the youth of Aparri.

Race Report!

At the Nueva Segovia Bike Challenge held in Lallo, Cagayan during their 444th Patronal Town Fiesta, Craig Aouiex Raquinio finished strong in 6th place, while Zhyren Contillo followed closely in 7th in the 20km open category race.

Their efforts were highly commendable as they went toe-to-toe with some of the top cyclists from Cagayan, especially the powerhouse Team Ybanag from Isabela, who swept all the podium spots. Holding their own in such a competitive field is a true testament to Craig and Zhyren’s relentless training, dedication, and perseverance.

Congratulations to this promising young duo! May their performance continue to rise, and may we soon see them standing on the podium—motivated by today’s challenge and tomorrow’s potential. 💪

Congratulations to our young guns for securing podium finishes in a challenging 50-50 criterium race held in Camalaniugan, Cagayan!

In the open category, Craig Aouiex Raquinio clinched 3rd Place 🥉, while Zhyren Contillo secured 5th Place 🏅—an impressive performance against strong competition from neighboring towns.

Their unwavering dedication and consistent training are clearly paying off as they continue to earn well-deserved spots on the podium. May their achievements serve as an inspiration to all Aparrianos and ignite a deeper passion for cycling and the sport as a whole.

During Fire Prevention Month 2025, cycling enthusiasts gathered at the break of dawn for the 50km MTB Fun Bike 2025: Pedal to Victory, held in Solana, Cagayan.

Congratulations to Daniel Forto for finishing 6th place in the 30 and above age category, competing against some of the best cyclists in Cagayan and Isabela.

His love for cycling and dedication to traveling wherever the road takes him—simply for the joy of pedaling and experiencing different scenic routes—serve as an inspiration to his fellow Aparrianos. May his passion encourage others to embrace a healthy and active lifestyle!

Shoutout to Daniel Forto for conquering the 240km race at the ATTCK UNRSTRKD Gravel Race held in Talavera, Nueva Ecija, on February 9, 2025!

More than 800 cyclists participated in this Gravel Earth Series bike race. Aside from Filipinos, international cyclists from Thailand, Indonesia, and the USA also gathered to compete in this extraordinary event.

In the 240km segment, cyclists were given a limited time to complete the course, and Daniel crossed the finish line before the cutoff, placing 7th in his age category.

Due to a lack of sleep and rest from travel and excitement, he was on the verge of giving up in the middle of the race. However, he persevered and pushed through to the finish line, proudly representing his hometown, Aparri, on his cycling jersey.

Congratulations! May this achievement inspire his fellow Aparrianos to get on their saddles and experience the joy of cycling!

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Paddaya, alongside the Barangay Council, led the "PAD-DYAK para sa mga Kabataan" event on April 20, 2024, aiming to raise funds to support initiatives and activities of the Sangguniang Kabataan Council while fostering camaraderie and enjoyment among participants.

Congratulations to Zhyren Contillo for securing 3rd place in the Amateur Category, and to Junstin Dave Publico for finishing strongly in 6th place in the same category. Your dedication and passion for the sport inspire all aspiring cyclists. Train hard and reap the rewards!
