Nag-bakal sang napulo ka mga 'Genesis' boat kag nakabaton sang isa ka unit bilang libre ang lokal nga panguluhan sang Binalbagan, suno kay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (DRRMO) Head Jernie Rondin.

Sa interview kay Rondin, gina-plano nga igapahamtang sa napulo nga gina-kabig bilang 'flood prone' barangays ang nasambit nga mga 'Genesis' boats bilang 'pre-positioned' assets sa ti-on nga may mag-luntad nga pag-baha.

Suno kay Rondin, isa ka unit sang Genesis Boat nga naga-laba sang 2.8 metro kag naga-lapad sang 1.5 metro nga himo sa polyethylene ang sarang maka-sakay sang anum ka mga indibidwal.

Dugang pa ni Rondin, naga-balor sang P92,000 ang isa ka unit, kag gin-kuha ang pondo sa pag-bakal nagikan sa Quick Response Fund sang banwa.
