As part of the first-week activities, the High School Center for Counseling and Wellness (CCW) facilitated a talk entitled,โ๐๐๐๐-๐ฉ๐๐ง ๐๐๐๐ฃ๐๐จ ๐ผ๐๐๐๐: ๐๐๐๐๐ก๐ค๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ช๐๐๐ ๐๐ค๐ง ๐๐๐๐ฃ ๐๐๐๐ฃ๐๐จ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ค๐ช๐๐.โ The CCW, with the assistance of Mr. Nelwyn L. Tejada, was able to invite ๐ ๐. ๐๐ฒ๐น ๐ ๐๐ป๐ฑ๐ผ ๐ค of Batch Amaranthine ๐, to inspire our Grade 12 learners.
Ms. Castillo began the talk by introducing the challenges she faced as a former Louisian. Besides her dedication as a Louisian learner stands her drive into stardom. Ms. Castillo went through her academic life balancing both her pageant career and her academic responsibilities. The challenges were not easy, as she had to sacrifice parts of her to attain her goal and maintain her academic standing. But, she proudly stood in front as a testament on how far grit and determination can bring balance to both passion and responsibility.
Afterwards, Mr. Del Mundo takes the stage to connect with the Louisian learners and future leaders. Guided by his previous leadership experience as a SANAMA president, he painted the challenges of a student leader and the expectations attached to it. Balancing both responsibilities usually comes smoother to student leaders, yet he found himself shaken and overwhelmed. Grit and persistence, sprinkled with some creative identity, have pushed Mr. Del Mundo to succeed and overcome all the challenges he faced during high school. Now, as a Law student, he puts his experience and grit as his driving force in the pursuit of educational justice.
Once a Louisian learner, now a proud alumni of their respective batch. Both are testaments of how much grit can truly push a Louisian during their most difficult challenges.

Junior High Center for Counseling and Wellness Equips learners for AY 2026-2027
June 25, 2026 marked a meaningful start to the academic year as the Junior High Center for Counseling and Wellness conducted two simultaneous orientation talks designed to help learners confidently navigate their new academic journey.
Held at the John Van Bauwel Function Hall, Mrs. Marion Nicole Rodillas-Bernardino, with the assistance of Mr. Lemuel Tindungan, facilitated an engaging session for Grade 7 learners entitled "LEVEL UP: Surviving and Thriving in Grade 7 โ Your Guide to the High School Adventure." The talk aimed to help incoming junior high school learners adjust to the demands and opportunities of junior high life. The session introduced learners to The Grade 7 Experience, highlighting the key differences between elementary and junior high school and preparing them for the changes they will encounter. Participants also took part in a Gen Alpha Check-In, where they explored the unique strengths of their generation, recognized common challenges, and learned practical strategies to overcome these weaknesses.
To encourage habits that lead to long-term success, Mrs. Rodillas-Bernardino shared The Secret to Success through three simple yet powerful habits:
Show Up โ Be present and make the most of every opportunity to learn.
Ask Questions โ Embrace curiosity and seek understanding whenever something is unclear.
Be Consistent โ Build success through small, positive actions practiced every day.
The session concluded with an inspiring reminder that resonated with the learners:
"Grade 7 is not about being the smartest student in the room. It's about becoming a better version of yourself every day. Some days you'll win. Some days you'll learn. But every day is a chance to grow."
Meanwhile, at the Gerard Decaestecker Mini Theater, Ms. Knuzca Riza Amistad conducted an orientation for Grade 8 to Grade 10 transferee learners entitled "Starting Strong: Effective Study Habits for a Successful School Year." The orientation focused on helping new learners smoothly adjust to their new school environment while introducing effective study habits and learning strategies that promote academic success. Ms. Amistad emphasized the importance of organization, time management, active learning, and maintaining a positive mindset as learners transition into their new academic community.
She concluded the session with an encouraging message:
"Study smarter, not harder! By actively developing good study skills and learning strategies, you will keep your motivation high and achieve your goals more easily and more efficiently."
Through these meaningful orientation programs, the High School Center for Counseling and Wellness reaffirmed its commitment to supporting learners' academic, personal, and socio-emotional development. By equipping learners with essential life skills, positive habits, and practical strategies, the Center continues to empower learners to confidently embrace the challenges and opportunities of the new school year.

The Senior High Center for Counseling and Wellness proudly re-launched its Independent Living Program through an inspiring talk facilitated by Ms. Maylanie C. Tuba-ang, a faculty member from Benguet State University.
Entitled โ๐๐๐ง๐๐ซ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ค๐ก๐ค: ๐๐ง๐๐ฅ๐๐ง๐๐ฃ๐ ๐๐ค๐ง ๐๐๐๐ ๐ผ๐๐ฉ๐๐ง ๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ค๐ค๐ก,โ the session was designed for Grade 11 learners who are beginning to navigate the realities of living independently and adapting to new environments. Ms. Tuba-ang shared practical insights on managing finances wisely by guiding learners to mindfully distinguish between needs and wants. To reinforce these lessons, participants took part in a hands-on activity that honed their budgeting skills.
While living independently comes with challenges, it is also a powerful milestone that builds confidence and self-trust. Learners are reminded that independence doesnโt mean isolation, instead, they are encouraged to seek support from family, friends, teachers, guidance counselors, and other trusted adults along the way.
The Center for Counseling and Wellness continues to believe in every learnerโs capacity to thrive because independence isnโt about being alone, itโs about growing stronger, wiser, and ready for what lies ahead. ๐ฑ๐
