The public is hereby advised that the MPTC Tour of Luzon 2026 will culminate tomorrow, May 13, 2026, with the official finish line area at Scout Hill, Camp John Hay, Baguio City.
Motorists may expect temporary traffic congestion, intermittent lane control, and slow-moving traffic along the following routes as the race convoy and participating teams approach the finish area:
Loakan Road
South Drive
Country Club Road
Roads leading toward Camp John Hay
The arrival of the race contingent is expected between approximately 12:00 NN to 2:00 PM.
Traffic management personnel and concerned government agencies will be deployed to manage traffic flow and ensure public safety during the event.
Motorists are encouraged to take alternate routes where possible and to allow additional travel time during the affected period.
The publicโs patience, understanding, and cooperation are highly appreciated.

Officials and employees of the city government of Baguio including all Punong Barangays were mandated to wear purple every Wednesday for the month of March in observance of the 2026 National Womenโs Month celebration.
Mayor Benjamin B. Magalong issued Memorandum No. 37, series of 2026 for the strict compliance of said order while also encouraging schools and national government agencies in Baguio City to support and participate in the said observance.
This is in line with the directive of the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW), and as highlighted during the during the Womenโs Month Steering Committee meeting, all offices and barangays under the city government of Baguio to support the campaign specifically on March 4, 11, 18, and 25, 2026.
This yearโs Womenโs Month celebration theme is โWE for Gender Equality and Inclusive Society.โ
Several activities and programs have been prepared by the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) headed by Liza Bulayungan and the office of Councilor Betty Lourdes Tabanda as committee chair on Women, Social Services and Urban Poor and in coordination with local and national line agencies.
Some of the activities focus on health, livelihood, awareness, service, self and environmental care, digital literacy, sports, Gender and Development (GAD), arts, literature, eco-fashion including that for Women with Disabilities (PWDs) among others. โ JM Samidan
