Heartwarming but heartbreaking story today.

A five-year-old girl visited her mom in jail right after her kindergarten graduation. She was still wearing her cap and gown. It was her mom’s only request. To see her daughter in her graduation outfit.

And they made it happen.

The video was shared by her aunt. In the clip, the child stands outside the jail window. Her mother reaches out through a small opening. Wipes her tears. Watches her daughter in full graduation attire.

“Gituman namo iyang request nga ipa-diretso siya didto human sa graduation nakasuot pa og toga,” her aunt wrote.

(We granted her request to bring the child straight to her after the graduation, still wearing her toga.)

It happened in Santiago, Agusan del Norte.

The video quickly went viral. People cried. People paused. It reminded everyone how deep a mother’s love runs.
