NEWLY REGISTERED ELECTRICAL ENGINEER TESTIMONIAL ⚡️
To Ma'am Vana Parchamento, Sir Roger Parchamento, and the entire Dreamforce family,
First of all, I want to express my deepest gratitude for taking us in as scholars and for guiding us throughout our review for the September 2026 Registered Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination. These past three months may have been short, but living and reviewing alongside friends in Baguio made it feel like a lifetime.
My story with Dreamforce began at the November 2025 National Quiz Show, where our team almost qualified for the scholarship. One of our answers was invalidated even though it was correct. It was our first time encountering the term “line inductance” in a question that was asking for phase inductance. But we still took home second runner-up. Back then, I was already wondering which review center I should choose to prepare for the board exam, and how I would finance it. Then Ma'am Vana and Sir Roger approached us and offered the scholarship. It was truly a blessing.
By the time we enrolled in Dreamforce, we had only three months before the REELE, which I think is much shorter than the usual preparation period. Medyo nag-alala ako nung una dahil parang kulang yung three months para mag-prepare. I had already covered some lessons beforehand, thanks to the comprehensive exams and video lectures from our coach, Engr. Stephen Villaruz. But even so, meron pa rin akong doubt sa consistency at performance ko pagdating ng weekly quizzes, pero thankfully naman, it turned out to be the opposite.
I also feared I would struggle to adjust to our mentors, pero again, the opposite happened. As I found out later, most of them are products of Dreamforce themselves, so they understand the challenges of the review phase. They empathized with us, shared effective reviewing tips, advice, and stories, and inspired us to do better. This made the process less tense and created a very accommodating environment, complete with snacks and complimentary coffee.
Dreamforce's review program was thorough from the very beginning. Kaya naman, the real challenges I faced were never in the review center itself. In fact, madalas kong nakukuha yung drive kong mag-review (a.k.a. pressure) kapag nahahawaan ako ng kabatakan ng topnotcher namin, si Louis Paolo Vicente. Honestly, yung pinaka-struggle namin during that time was deciding what dish to cook or eat for the day.
Just as importantly, the review process is truly inclusive of all its reviewees. It stays true to its goal of a 100% passing rate for the schools under its care, instead of designing its program only to produce consistent topnotchers. Dreamforce also understands that one's outlook and spiritual health are among the strongest assets for facing the board exam. We were encouraged to join weekly stress management sessions. Ma'am Vana, in particular, went the extra mile for us: as exam dayapproached, she personally organized prayer nights and Bible studies, making sure we had the time
and space to center ourselves spiritually.
While waiting for the results, I was confident that I had passed, but like many aspirants, I also hoped to see my name on the list of topnotchers. I didn't make it, but when I verified my ratings, I was surprised by the outcome: an average rating of 91.4%. I never thought I had such potential. Topnotcher or not, I consider passing the board exam a feat. Yet it is only the beginning. It opens the door to more opportunities and, with them, greater challenges. No matter what lies ahead, move forward in your own way. Equip yourself with the right skills, muster enough determination, and keep strong faith in yourself, in those around you, and, most importantly, in God, who walks with
you throughout, and you will achieve whatever you seek. Always remember to be grateful to those who have been part of your journey. Once again, thank you to everyone who made this journey and the licensure exam successful:
