Don't confuse dating with courting. Dating is usually based on attractions. If you meet someone, make friends and hang out. God will bring you together through friendship. If He wills, the courting will begin. Courting proceeds to marriage, not dating. Love not lust.

After a certain point we have to put a stop to random people coming in and out of our lives when we get "lonely". Pray before commitment.

The purpose of dating is MARRIAGE.
It is not for intimacy but for CLARITY; to check if the person is suitable for you. That's why you have to do it in the RIGHT WAY and wait for the RIGHT TIME. Don’t just date for validation or out of pressure, rather date with a purpose of marriage.

PRAY-pare for it and date wisely!

So while you're waiting and preparing, you have to love God first! Make Jesus the LORD of your life. Before you date, make sure that you love God with all your heart!
