𝐁𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐈𝐎 𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘, 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 — The Panagbenga Badminton Tournament 2026 concluded at the University of the Cordilleras, gathering young athletes for a day of competitive matches as part of the Panagbenga Festival celebration.

𝐌𝐫. 𝐂𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐍𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 secured 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 during the tournament, while 𝐌𝐫. 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐳 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 recorded 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐧 in their respective matches.

The event provided valuable competitive experience for the players, highlighting sportsmanship, determination, and growth on the badminton court.

𝐏𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐁𝐄𝐍𝐆𝐀 𝐁𝐀𝐃𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐎𝐍 𝐓𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐍𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓

𝐁𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐈𝐎 𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘, 𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐏𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒 — The 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐕𝐁𝐅) is taking part in the 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 held at the 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐨 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲.

Competing for the federation in today’s one day tournament are two athletes in their respective age categories. 𝐌𝐫. 𝐂𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐍𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 will represent VBF in the 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟔 𝐁𝐨𝐲𝐬’ 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞𝐬 (𝟏𝟔𝐔 𝐁𝐒) 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐲 and is scheduled to play at 𝟓:𝟑𝟎 𝐏𝐌. Meanwhile, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐳 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 will compete in the 𝐔𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟖 𝐁𝐨𝐲𝐬’ 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐞𝐬 (𝟏𝟖𝐔 𝐁𝐒) category at 𝟖:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌.

The athletes are accompanied by their coach, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩 𝐑𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐬𝐚, President of the Villasis Badminton Federation, who continues to support and guide the players in the competition. 🏸

Competing in the 17U category were 𝐌𝐫. 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐳 𝐌𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 and 𝐌𝐫. 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐥 𝐘𝐨𝐫𝐨. In the 15U Boys’ Doubles division, 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐆𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐚 and 𝐌𝐫. 𝐄𝐝𝐠𝐚𝐫 𝐀𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐳 represented the Federation. Meanwhile, in the Club Category – Intermediate Level (Boys’ Doubles), 𝐌𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐡𝐧 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩 𝐑𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐬𝐚 and 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐲. 𝐓𝐫𝐲𝐠𝐯𝐞 took to the court.

The tournament marks the federation’s continued commitment to competitive excellence and grassroots sports development.
