Pano malaman kung pinoy ang isang fixed gear rider?

Kapag kakabili pa lang ng fixie last week for sale na ulit ngayon.

THE ART OF THE SLEEPER Vol. 53

Minikim's Trick Track MASH

I was genuinely amazed by this kid's skills on a fixed gear bike. At just 13 years old, Minikim can pull off an impressive lineup of freestyle tricks on his Mash Steel. At first glance, you'd think it's just an ordinary steel bike.. no flashy components, no expensive bling, nothing that screams "high-end." But that's exactly what makes it cool.

I also love how he incorporated locally made components like Punchblues' faceplate and top cap. They're almost a staple in the Korean fixed gear scene, and you'll find them in most local bike shops. The color coordination is another highlight. Simple, clean, and perfectly put together.

For Minikim (the owner of this bike), the bike is a tool meant to be ridden hard. He doesn't hesitate to throw it around while linking trick after trick, never worrying about scratches or dents. It's simply doing what it was built for.

Watching the fixed gear scene in Korea firsthand was eye-opening. The kids there ride with an incredible level of confidence and commitment. I've seen riders throwing long skids down steep descents on full-carbon bikes without a second thought. They're more focused on riding than preserving their equipment.

Back home in the Philippines, it's often the opposite. Carbon bikes are treated like delicate relics, always kept spotless, carefully handled, and rarely allowed to touch the ground. In Korea, the mindset is different: bikes are meant to be used, pushed to their limits, and enjoyed without fear.

Different cultures and different perspectives. Seeing that fearless approach to riding was something I'll never forget.

❗️❗️FAKE PRODUCT❗️❗️

Our friend from Korea, the owner of Punchblues, recently reached out to us regarding a product currently being sold in the Philippines. After confirming with him, we learned that it is a bootleg copy of his original designs.

While this fake product is not a threat to Punchblues or its business, we want to raise awareness for anyone interested in buying it. We simply want people to know that the item being sold is not an authentic Punchblues product, so they can make an informed decision before purchasing.

We are sharing this information only to spread awareness and support the original creator.

Fast Night 4!

It was explosive. Held deep into the night, bringing back the raw underground energy of the glory days inspired by the legendary Ultraman Uphill Sprints. The police showed up, but the night refused to die. Nothing could stop the Straycats of Rekta043 from being rad.
