🚧⬆️ What is Work at Height?
Work at height refers to any work where a person could fall from one level to another and get injured — whether working above ground or near openings ⚠️
📏📐 Important Distances (Standards):
🔹 General Work at Height:
📌 1.8 meters (6 feet) or above
🔹 Excavation Work:
📌 1.2 meters (4 feet) or more depth is considered hazardous ⚠️ and requires protection (risk of falling inside)
⚠️🏗️ Common Examples:
🔸 Working on ladders or scaffolding 🪜
🔸 Roof maintenance or installation 🏠
🔸 Working near edges, openings, or floor gaps ⚠️
🔸 Working around deep excavations or trenches 🚜
✅🦺 Basic Safety Measures:
✔️ Use full body harness & lifeline 🔗
✔️ Install guardrails/barriers around edges & excavations 🚧
✔️ Ensure safe access (ladders for trenches) 🪜
✔️ Provide proper signage and barricading 🪧
✔️ Follow permit and safety procedure
