Headed by the University of Batangas swim coach, Erwin Evangelista — The University of Batangas (UB) Swimming Team is set to dive into high-stakes competition as they represent the university at the PRISAA Regionals, held from March 20–21, 2026, in the scenic "City of Seven Lakes," San Pablo City.

Following a dominant performance in recent local meets—including standout gold and silver finishes at the STASA-COPA and the BCPRISA Athletic Association Meet, the UB Brahmans are heading to the regional stage with a reputation for speed, discipline, and resilience.

Under the guidance of the UB Sports Office and dedicated coaching staff, the team has undergone rigorous preparation to ensure they are at peak performance.

This meet is not just a test of athletic ability but a demonstration of the "Malakas, Matatag, May Disiplina" — mantra that defines the PRISAA athlete.

A strong showing in San Pablo is crucial, as the top finishers will secure their spots to represent Region IV-A at the National PRISAA Games 2026 in Bacolod City this coming May.

With the team’s recent history of breaking personal records, expectations are high for a multi-medal haul.
