Sometimes your backup camera captures the best shot. 🌊✨

This magical moment was captured on the Insta360 X5, mounted on our dive rig as a backup camera. Shot in 360 Mode at 5.7K 60fps, it perfectly captured the vibrant colors of the reef, the beautiful sunrays piercing through the water, and our subject in one smooth, cinematic shot.

The best part? The buttery slow motion wasn't shot at 120fps. It was created using a simple hidden trick inside the Insta360 app.

Some weekends are just meant to happen. 🌊✨

Wave 292 last July 4–5 gave us the perfect break between days of bad weather, and we couldn't have asked for a better weekend to be in the ocean.

It was great catching up with familiar faces, welcoming new dive buddies, and having one of our regular divers, Sam Pinto, back in the water once again. This time, she brought friends along to experience the adventure and share the magic of the ocean with us.
