The hook and eye is a two-part closure which is attached to the waistband of a garment. It consists of a small metal bridge called the “eye” and a flat, curve-shaped metal tab called the “hook.” The garment is closed by “hooking the eye,” and resulting tension keeps the waistband closed.

The FLATKNIT® with narrow tape is designed specifically for pants. It offers the advantage of sewing the narrow zipper tape directly above the outer fabric, eliminating the need for a zipper fly and reducing the sewing process. This innovative approach results in a thinner fabric thickness at the zipper sewing area, creating a more refined and attractive silhouette for the pants.

The yarn used in the tape is made from 100% post-consumer recycled materials, primarily sourced from PET bottles. This contributes to the reduction of new fossil resource extraction.

The SOFIX® snap fastener is a revolutionary product with plastic injected snaps attached to the tape. The snap portion, which is injection molded directly onto the tape, is snugly attached. No attaching machine or attaching die set is required, and the knitted tape provides a soft feel.
The tape is made of recycled PET, the same material used for NATULON® zippers, and the use of the SOFIX® NATULON® fastener reduces the environmental impact caused by plastic bottles. 100% of the tape yarn of the SOFIX® NATULON® material recycled fasteners are made of post-consumer recycled material.
