SBU RED LIONS CLINCH 3RD PLACE, GOT SKILLS BASKETBALL SETTLE FOR 4TH

JUNE 29 - San Beda University - Manila Red Lions x Mair Construction & Marrea Estates Corporation finished 3rd Place in the Mayor Kirk Asis Open Invitational Basketball Tournament 2026 after taking down Got Skills Basketball x K-Prime Construction & Lexicon Development Corporation, 72-67, today at Lope Asis Memorial Gymnasium.

The Red Lions led as much as 27 points, 53-26, but Got Skills Basketball erased that lead and cut it down to a 2-point deficit, behind Jimboy Estrada's monster 25-point game. However, Red Lions RC Calimag went god mode and collected 33 points, shooting 59.1% from the field, 7/10 from beyond the arc, as well as 3 rebounds, and 1 assist.

Estrada also had 4 rebounds and 1 steal.
