Pirate Divers Busuanga Coron PADI 5 Star Dive Center and Cafe in Busuanga Island, Palawan. We dive the famous Japanese World War 2 wrecks!

The Japanese WW2 shipwrecks are the highlight of diving in Coron, and we are the dive shop closest to these dive sites. We have 2 shops: one is a service point where walk-in guests can book dives, the other is our main shop in Busuanga Bay Lodge where we dive from. We offer free pick up from all areas within 5km of our service point going to the main dive shop, so you will never have to worry about getting to us. We are about 45 minutes away from Busuanga Airport or Coron town proper. There are a lot of options for accommodation around the area to suit your budget and preference. Just inform your hotel or guesthouse if you would like to dive, and we will come and see you for a chat.

The Akitsushima is one of Coron's most fascinating wrecks⚓

What was a Japanese seaplane tender now rests on her port side at around 35 meters. Much of the ship’s structure remains recognizable, including the large crane that once handled aircraft and equipment, a tri-barrel anti-aircraft gun, and her 4 huge engines still intact.

At 43 meters, the Irako is Coron’s deepest wreck!

This 146.9-meter long Japanese refrigeration ship is now home to big groupers, schools of tuna and yellowfin, lionfish, scorpionfish, and other marine life.

With the deck sitting between 28–35 meters, the Irako is best explored with proper deep-diving experience and Nitrox. For those ready to take on the challenge, this wreck is definitely worth the descent.⚓
