Today, Casablanca Jiu Jitsu had the honor of teaching Basic Self Defense with Jiu Jitsu as part of BIR's 2025th National Women's Month Celebration Culmination Program. This event took place at Almont Inland Resort, Butuan City. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did!

OUR HEAD COACH bags gold medal at the National Selection Trials 2025 last Sunday, January 26, 2025.

Coach Jay, 35 years old, won by 2 submissions in the +94 kg adult male gi division. As a new member of the Philippine team, he will be competing for the Philippines in the +94kg adult male division. Coach Jay Carlos, brown belt, is the head coach of Casablanca Jiu Jitsu, a Butuan City based affiliate of Team Fabricio.

We are sincerely grateful to our coaches and training partners for helping us with this major achievement. Thank you, Coach for your constant support and guidance. We leveled up! Congratulations to everyone who got promoted 🥳

Last week, we had the wonderful opportunity to meet and train with our teammates from different parts of Mindanao for four days. We learned so much from them and our head coach, Coach Stephen!

We visited in Davao; Silverback Dojo in Kidapawan City; SKIA Grapplers, Wartime Muay Thai and MMA, and Tripe A Bros Academy in Cotabato City.

Big thank you to our coaches, Coach Stephen, Coach , Coach , Coach Nad, Coach Peds, Coach Aziz, Coach Abdulahman, Coach Aiman, Coach John, and everyone we learned from! It was the perfect year ender.
