BSC Concludes Last Sailing Activity of the Year 2025

The Balangay Sailing Club (BSC) conducted its Last Sailing Activity of the Year 2025 on December 13, 2025, sailing from Cubi-Cubi, Gumamela Beach to La Vista, Conchita Beach. The activity was participated in by BSC First Year and Second Year students, together with Mr. Brian Jones, Mr. Michael Foley and Mr. Doug Skinner, following the membersโ€™ request to hold a final sailing activity before the year ended.

The sailing began with the proper hoisting of sails and departed from Cubi-Cubi toward Nasipit, where participants navigated against the current. The group briefly stayed at La Vista for lunch and a short discussion on future plans before sailing back and circling the fish cage along the route.

The activity concluded with the unrigging, washing, and securing of the sailboats in the boat shed, marking a meaningful close to BSCโ€™s sailing activities for 2025 and reinforcing teamwork, discipline, and seamanship among its members.
