They don't just talk about progress; they show the discipline required to translate vision into reality, ensuring the voices, welfare, and holistic development of student-athletes are fiercely protected and prioritized.

We need leaders who know the system and actively advocate for the sports community. For continuity, progress, and action, we make our stand clear.

[PHOTOS] The 5th Mindanao Leadership Summit for Athletes (MLSA) was proudly hosted by Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan and organized by the University Athletics Office together with the St. Jean de Brebeuf Athletics Club. Held on March 27–29, 2026 at XU Macasandig, Cagayan de Oro City, the summit gathered female athletes and coaches from across Mindanao for a meaningful stay-in leadership experience in celebration of Women’s Month.
More than just a gathering, the MLSA served as a platform for reflection, dialogue, skills development, and shared learning—strengthening leadership competencies grounded in values, service, and responsible leadership.
