CDO–MIS OR ARCHERY CLUB MIDAOG OG 17 KA MEDALYA

Ang Cagayan de Oro–Misamis Oriental Archery Club naka-sakmit sa 17 medals — 6 gold, 4 silver, and 7 bronze sa gipahigayon nga PSC–WAP Philippine National Archery Championship Qualifier Leg 3, adtong August 18–23 sa Tionko Football Field, Ecoland, Davao City.

Si Lester Ian Datiles ang nag led sa Philippine Archery Championship, kung aha naka daog siya sa Gold sa Men's Olympic Round ug bronze sa Qualification Round. Si Lester sad nag bronze sa Recurve Open Mixed Team event kauban si Moira Juliane Cadavez.

Ang CDO-MOAC dunay mga bangi-itan nga mga batang atleta, Si Kerwin Ian Datiles, naka sakmit sa gold sa parehong Philippine Youth Archery Championship U17 Boys Olympic ug Qualification Rounds. Si Moira Juliane Cadavez naka daog sad sa silver para sa Olympic Round ug bronze in Qualifying round para sa U15 Girls events, samtang si Cedric Troy Quilang naka daog sa bronze sa U15 Boys Olympic Round. Si Cadavez ug Quilang nag uban sa kadaogan sa gold para sa U15 Mixed Team.

Ang Barebow kids sa grupo naka daog sab. Si Zelda Elisha Obsines naka daog sa gold ug silver sa U15 Girls events, Abe Ulric Villarta naka sakmit sa two bronze medals sa U15 Boys events ug si Xian Felina Bernardino nakuha ang two silver medals sa U17 Girls events.

Kani nga kalampusa nag pakita sa dedication ug hard work isa mga bata para sa mag dala sa pangalang sa Cagayan de Oro and Misamis Oriental didto national stage.

Dili ikalimod ang supporta ni Governor Juliette Uy sa maong kalampusan gani iya mismong gi supportahan ang maong grupo pinaagi sa pag butang og area sa archery sa pag develop sa sport center sa umalabot.

Congratulations to Michael Jay Callora, a student athlete from Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental, for his outstanding achievement in winning Double Gold Medals in Kata and Advanced Kumite during the Kadayawan Festival Karate Championship 2026 held on August 2, 2026, at the University of Mindanao Matina, Davao City.

Through his exceptional performance, Michael Jay earned the opportunity to compete in the 7th Manuel Veguillas Philippine International Open Karate Championship and Kumite Training Camp, held on August 18–23, 2026, at the Tagaytay City Velodrome, Tagaytay City, Philippines.

The Provincial Sports Development Office (PSDO) conducted a site visit at the Sports Center to inspect and evaluate the proposed area for the development of basketball and volleyball facilities.

The inspection was conducted by the Provincial Sports Coordinator Rosuetta Colastre together with Former Claveria Mayor Coach Rocky Calingin, Architect Placid Pongasi and Engr. Cate Pongasi of the Provincial Engineering Office (PEO) to assess the site’s suitability, available space, and overall feasibility for the planned sports infrastructure.

This initiative reflects the Province of Misamis Oriental’s continued commitment to enhancing sports facilities and creating quality venues that will support athlete development and promote active community participation in sports.

Dako kaayong pagpasalamat kang Governor Juliette T. Uy sa iyang walay hupas nga suporta sa pagpalambo sa sports sa Probinsya sa Misamis Oriental.
