SSS: Calamity loans ready for Carina-hit members The SSS is ready to extend calamity loans to its members who have been affected by Super Typhoon Carina in the NCR and in other areas that have been declared under a state of calamity.

Dear RESIDENTS OF PABTON 2,

Here's an update on the recent impact of Typhoon Carina on July 24, 2024:

🔹 Typhoon Carina (international name: Gaemi) is the third cyclone to hit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) this year.
🔹 The intense southwest monsoon, amplified by Carina, led to heavy rainfall in Metro Manila and parts of Luzon, resulting in widespread flooding.
🔹 Cainta has been declared under a state of calamity due to severe flooding, causing significant damage and livelihood disruptions.
🔹 In anticipation of rising flood levels, PVIIHOA Officers are preparing for evacuees to use our basketball court and social hall.
🔹 To ensure safe parking for PVII residents, the Pabton Ville II Court has been opened for your convenience.
🔹 Pabton Ville II Basketball Court Page were available to the neighboring subdivision, as we stand united with the San Andres Homeowners Association to support those in need during these trying times.
🔹 Gate 2 has been opened for resident safety due to escalating flood levels at the Main Gate.
🔹 Carina strengthened into a super typhoon before making landfall in northern Taiwan.
🔹 In Wednesday evening's developments, La Mesa Dam overflowed after surpassing its capacity.
🔹 According to Pagasa, Carina has exited the PAR as of Thursday morning.

Dear Residents of Pabton 2,

Good day!

We have received numerous complaints regarding dog waste on our sidewalks and streets, as well as concerns about stray dogs. This not only creates an unsanitary and unwelcoming environment but also poses a safety risk to our community. It appears that a few individuals may be responsible for these issues.

Some responsible pet owners are already diligently cleaning up after their pets using waste bags. The Pabton Ville II Homeowners Association, Inc. would like to reinforce the importance of picking up after your pets and addressing the matter of stray dogs.

To address this problem, we have installed signs outlining community guidelines and fines for failure to clean up after pets:
- First Offense: Php 500.00
- Second Offense: Php 1,000.00
- Third Offense: Php 2,000.00

We urge all pet owners to be mindful and bag their pets' waste, disposing of it properly at home. This simple act will ensure that everyone, especially children, can walk around without the concern of encountering dog waste. Let's show consideration for our neighbors and maintain the cleanliness of our community.
