What a season it has been for Batang Losnap in the South Hoops Ballers Club U25 Basketball League—finishing at the very top and proving that the young guns are truly built for the future.

It was a hard-fought journey from start to finish. They may have fallen just short of the ultimate crown, but what they gained is far greater—experience, growth, and the respect of every team they faced. Year by year, this squad continues to rise, and their improvement is nothing short of top notch.

A huge salute to the unwavering support since day 1 from SK Chairman Jomari Cuevas and the entire SB led by Kap Weng Martinez. Special recognition as well to Coach Jerome Llerin and the whole coaching staff for building a system that challenged every opponent and brought the team within reach of the championship.

And to the loyal and passionate fans who stood by them through every battle—this run was for you.

Batang Losnap will surely be back—stronger, better, and hungrier than ever. The future is bright. 🔥🏀|

VENUE BARANGAY PARIAN COVERED COURT (FARCONVILLE)

Game 2 is set, and the stakes couldn’t be higher. 💥

GPC Parian holds the 1-0 series lead and now returns to their home court with a golden opportunity to close it out in front of their home crowd. With momentum on their side, confidence at an all-time high, and the energy of their supporters behind them, they look to finish the job and be crowned as CHAMPION on their own floor.

Their Game 1 performance showed composure, ex*****on, and the ability to rise in big moments—but the job is far from over.

Because on the other side stands Batang Losnap.

A team built on heart, grit, and relentless energy, Batang Losnap already proved in Game 1 that they are more than capable of challenging GPC Parian. They refused to back down, fighting possession after possession, showing flashes of brilliance that could easily turn the tide of this series. And now, with their backs against the wall, expect them to come out even more dangerous.

Adjustments will be key—both offensively and defensively. Batang Losnap will look to tighten their defense, control the tempo, and capitalize on every opportunity, while GPC Parian aims to stay disciplined, protect their home court, and deliver the knockout punch.

This is where legends are made. This is where composure meets desperation. This is where hunger meets opportunity.

Will GPC Parian rise to the moment, defend their home court, and complete their championship run? Or will Batang Losnap shock the crowd, steal Game 2, and force a winner-take-all Game 3?

One game. One mission. One champion waiting to be crowned. 🏀🔥

After a brutal playoff run, it all comes down to pride and redemption. Banadero and Dos clash one last time—not for the championship, but for honor, momentum, and the right to finish strong in the South Hoops Ballers Club U25 League.

This is where character is tested. Every possession matters. Every stop is personal. No excuses, no backing down—just pure heart on the line at 6:00 PM.

Who takes home 3rd place glory—Banadero or Dos? 🏆🔥

“THE HANDSOME SHOT” — CONTROVERSY STRIKES GAME 1

In a game that had everything—intensity, momentum swings, and pure drama—GPC Parian steals Game 1 from Batang Losnap in a night that will be talked about for a long time.

From the opening tip, both squads went toe-to-toe, trading buckets and locking in defensively. But it was Batang Losnap who seized control in the second half, igniting a run that built a double-digit lead and silenced any thoughts of a comeback. The home crowd was electric, the energy unmatched, and it looked like Game 1 was slipping away from GPC Parian.

But champions don’t panic.

GPC Parian stayed composed in the face of adversity, slowly chipping away at the lead possession by possession. And just when it seemed like time had run out—down 3 with only 2 seconds left—everything changed.

Off the inbound, the ball found Jonas Arcibal… and in one heartbeat, he launched a deep three over a defender.

Bang. Tie game.

And just like that, the court turned into a storm of emotions.

Was the shot released in time? Did the ball leave his hands before the buzzer? With no instant replay system available, confusion and arguments erupted from both sides. Videos from spectators surfaced, but it must be made clear:

South Hoops Ballers Club does NOT allow or acknowledge any video evidence, as there is no official Instant Replay System (IRS) in place. All decisions rely solely on the judgment of the game officials.

After deliberation, the referees made their call:

THE SHOT COUNTS.

A moment now forever remembered as “THE HANDSOME SHOT.”

Batang Losnap, fueled by emotion, strongly protested the ruling and chose not to continue the game despite being given a 5-minute window by officials. Their decision ultimately led to a default finish.

FINAL: GPC Parian takes Game 1.

A game filled with heart, controversy, and a shot that will echo across Calamba basketball for years to come.

Batang Losnap showcased resilience and composure under pressure as they took down Barangay Dos in a hard-fought overtime battle to secure their spot in the SHBC U25 Finals.

Barangay Dos came out blazing at the opening tip, firing on all cylinders both offensively and defensively. Their hot shooting and aggressive defense allowed them to build an early double-digit lead, putting Batang Losnap on the back foot. In the extra period, every possession carried weight, every stop mattered, and every shot felt like the difference.
