La Kickers is affiliated with Shoshinkan Karate-Do International-Philippines and is the home of the LPU-Laguna SKP team.

Congratulations to our Grade 12 student, Paul Jonson Garganta, for winning the qualifying tournament and becoming the representative of San Pablo City, Laguna in the Batang Pinoy 2024. We wish him all the best as he competes in this prestigious national chess event in Puerto Princesa, Palawan this November.

We express our deepest gratitude to LPU-Laguna for their generous support of our student-athletes, empowering them to achieve their maximum potential.

The second day of the ONE LPU Basketball Coaches Forum highlighted a significant visit to Pocari Sweat and CCF.

Day 1 at the ONE LPU Basketball Coaches Forum 2024: Athletic directors and basketball coaches from LPU's Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, and Davao campuses unite at LPU-Manila for a day of insights and collaboration.

The entire LPU sports community is excited to gather its basketball coaches for the next few days in an avenue of learning and development.

We also look forward to support LPU Manila as they host the 100th season of the NCAA which formally opens on September 7 at the MOA Arena.

Show off your strategic prowess and join us for the LPU-Laguna Pirates Chess Tryouts! Whether you’re in high school or college, this is your chance to compete and represent LPU-Laguna and LPU-St. Cabrini School of Health Sciences.

Categories:
• High School – Boys
• High School – Girls
• College – Men
• College – Women

Tournament Format: Swiss System (5-7 Rounds)
Time Control: 10 mins + 5 secs increment

Note: First-year students who qualify for the team will be exempt from NSTP 1 and NSTP 2.

Registration Deadline: September 5, 2024 (until 3:00 PM only)

Reminder: For those who wish to join the tryouts but have a class conflict, please inform Coach Michelle to obtain an excuse letter.
