At 18 years of age, Tachiana Mangin is continuously carving out a name in the world taekwondo – this time winning her first-ever gold in the Women’s -49kg Kyorugi at the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Thailand.

Tachiana is also the first Filipina to win a gold medal in the World Junior Taekwondo Championships, last year.
