Orok Cold Spring Resort: Gearing up for Summer 2024
Improvement, renovation and construction of new cottages at Orok Cold Spring Resort is currently in progress. The works started on January 15, 2024 and intends to highlight the resort's true resolve to offer guests, local and foreign, a safe and comfortable haven.
Considered as major tourist destination in the Province of Sorsogon, Orok continue to showcase ice-cold spring water, located at about 280 meters above sea level. The vast forested area still boasts of refreshing cold air, fit for relaxation. Truly, a beauty to behold.
Orok Cold Spring Resort is owned and managed by Casiguran Water District. Through the years, it has become a major source of revenue, enabling the District to maintain the lowest water rates in Province.
The operation of the resort is guided by the mantra - harmony with nature, harmony with the community. Part of the resort’s income goes to the protection of the watershed. It also adds economic activities in the area, providing livelihood to many.
GM Engr. Eduardo P. Tejada and Engr. Jomar H. Venus inspected the on-going works, leaving no stones unturned, if only to gear up the facility for the upcoming summer season.
