8th MBC Inter-Club Basketball League

And here it is. The long-awaited return of the MBC Inter-Club Basketball League, now on its eighth season. This season, we have 3 MBC teams and 4 guest teams (Magdalo, Thursday Hoopers, GrandAireworks, and CittaxPrima Ballers) that will surely bring us exciting and competitive basketball games.

When does it start?

This coming Saturday, December 6, at exactly 8 AM at the Magdalo covered court.

This coming Sunday (May 25, 2025), watch out for 3 exciting matchups in the MBC 7th Basketball League.

In the first game, Team Citta Suns will face the strength and size of Mond Matias , who will be backed up by the quick and aggressive Marvin Querubin . Will the Citta Suns be able to pull off an upset against the Classics and grab their first win, or will they continue to sink to the bottom of the standings.

In the second game, will the magic of Team Marker continue, led by Mr. Unbullied Mark Saquitan against the powerhouse team D&F, led by scoring machines Bacuetes, Aguanta, Bucad, and Teteng Yboa — or will someone from their bench spark a surprise? Expect a game that's heated not only on the court but also on the bench.

And in the third and final game, can TMNB tarnish the record of the young but powerful team Magdalo. Will TMNB led by the backcourt duo of Alvin Corpuz and Paul Tolentino play again with a complete roster or just a 5 man standing team. And will Team Magdalo’s perfect standing finally be blemished?

On the third week of the 7th MBC Basketball league, the following teams will once again battle it out in exciting and action-packed matchups.

In the first matchup, we’ll see whether the injury-prone Julie Baby will finally be able to play, and if their center, Cyruz Navarro, will also show up — as they face the winless Citta Suns, led by their center and the chubby “Iversion” tandem who are eager to grab their first win.

In the second game, the returning Mond Matias will lead Team Classics in their attempt to bounce back with a win against the team-to-beat, Hoopers. Will the “twin towers” Anton and Agapito play again? And will they get a taste of Mond's firepower?

In the final game of this Saturday triple-header, it’s a clash between Team Marker and Team Dab, both holding a 1-1 record. Who will take home their second win — Jonas’s team or Boss Gella’s squad?

Are you ready for another set of 3 thrilling games in the 7th MBC Basketball League?
Watch out as the MBC veterans, led by Mr. UY KC San Luis and Mr. 97% Joselito De Luna, hit the basketball court against the powerhouse guest team, the Citta Suns, in the opening game.

This will be followed by an explosive matchup between the young Magdalo players, led by sharp shooter Mardy Reyes, and the experienced and fast-paced complete team, the Hoopers, led by veteran Jeff Sto. Domingo.

Also highly anticipated is the final game this Saturday. Will Team Marker bounce back now that they are complete? Led by the top scorer from their first game, Kag. Ryan Nato. They'll be facing off against opening game winner TMNB, led by last game's Best Player, Alvin Corpuz & top scorer Sharp Shooter Paul Tolentino.

Come and support these players as they give their all in pursuit of victory!

This coming Saturday (May 17, 2025) at Espeleta 2.
